Here its US film about N.korea not about US citizens... Metal detectors for security is no curb on freedom. ! most will welcome it so that they can stay alive to enjoy freedom ! Its a common to see in our bollywood films caricatures being made out of many communities (religiou/linguistic / etc..) and a only a few noices against it is neccessary and cannot be avoided particularlarly when such caricaturing is done selectively for some communities but not equally and neutrally for all ! Asking for 100% tolerance from all is impractical in 1.2 billion people when you make fun out of them ! growing up does not mean we should watch silently and admire --when someones makes fun of us repeatedly but selectively refrains from making fun of some others ..
He still failed to bring it under the right context of SELECTIVITY which offends more than the satire or criticism displayed in movie. They understand only the language of swards.
i happen to watch p.k. @ a single screen theater last week packed to a full house.
it was a clear notice that all laughed and applauded on jokes made on majority relgion... but there was a clear silence and no laughs when the actor was in a scene with minority caste.
i have observed this very very carefully. the pity part is that people laugh when milk is offerd to a diety... but if its shown that a chadar can be of someones help in winter rather than offering a diety... then this is not well accepted.

The problem is you see only what you want to see. During Kamal's movie ban, there were many articles supporting him. Anyway, this article is so childish and confused.
