Bollywood & Hindi speaking should stop discrimination towards SOUTH India. You people need TECHNICIANS, STORIES from SOUTH. But respecting SOUTH talent is way far from your culture.

K BALACHANDAR, A LEGEND give priority to talk about him even today.

People have given clear verdict to PDP and BJP to jointly form Govt. Do not politicise it in between Hindus and muslims. People verdict must be honoured.

Mr. K Balachandar is one of the best directors and story tellers of Indian cinema. He has not only introduced actors like Kamal Haasan and Rajnikanth but has made great movies some of which were re-made in Hindi mostly by him. He has given great roles to other actors like Nagesh, Suhasini, etc. His films were off beat and always had the "suspense" / anti-climax element in social dramas.
Was deservingly awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke a couple of years ago.
Your films will always stand the test of time. RIP Sir!

I am from North India and I am fortunate to see his masterpiece ' Ek Duje ke liye'. We cant forget this realistic and emotional true PAN Indian film. He was a great creator by all parameters.
May his soul rest in peace.

He refused to toe the line and set his own standards. He could have comfortably worked with the stars instead focused on incubating stars.

If Shivaji Ganesan was the gold standard of acting, KB was the gold standard of film direction. If every actor after Shivaji learnt something from him, every director after KB learnt something from him.

May his soul rest in peace, while his films will continue stirring our souls.

KB films were always ahead of his times. Kamal himself has acknowledged that it was KB who made him think ahead as well and now we all know the level Kamal is, at. RIP
