All those Alien kind of stuff is is woven around the main subject. "Criticize Hindu Religion". To make sure to not to come under Fire from Hindu People, some LIGHT touch given from other religions.
Should be given negative stars for this movie. And Obv, rediff is known for paid reviews. Don't go by the reviews of rediff.

Well the reason is simple. If Hirani had criticized Islam half as much as he did to Hinduism he wouldn't have lived beyond one week from release date of the movie.
PK is an excellent movie compared to others recently. We must not compare with 3 idiots as everyone like to give something new. Few are criticizing this , then what about HPY, Kick .Didn't they do Rs 200 crore. Compared to them its great. Acting wise which other actor gets so much praize..Aamir choice must be appreciated and effort.Every one will like this movie. yes its little like OMG for sure. What content does chennai express, HNY and Kick had????

The movie is boring to the hilt. Serous editing would have reduced it to 100 min. from its current length of 153 min. And still it would have been worse than OMG. As far as creating ineterst goes, OMG creates more interest than PK. Although I love Aamir, this time he has not brought out the talen in him. And why the Pakustani angle? Has it become must for Hindi Movie just to ignite emotions? For me it is an extension of Satyamev Jayate but without any substance that the TV Serial had. Overall I feel that hindi movie makers serously doubt inetellect level of average Indian viewer and much depends upon the hype created by publicity.

I am puzzled every now and then why Rediff is stuck with Raja Sen as its star reviewer.. unless he is a partner in the management. I was shocked when he gave 2 stars for 3 idiots which was sensible and entertaining. But today I am aghast when he has given 4 stars for PK which was very boring to say the least. I think Raja Sen must watch OMG before reviewing PK.

Its Raja Sen's review, they are usually published to ignore! Just read for entertainment without expecting anything, aint worth it. :-)

Its a good movie though. Stars are just a number, it can be anything, if you want to attach any meaning to it.

I am a big big fan of Raju Hirani but admit I was utterly disappointed with PK. There was nothing new in the issues raised in the movie. The movie was very unconvincing and the script was confusing whether to preach or be a comedy or a love story but landing nowhere
