I have read few interviews / statements given by Myskin and it all looks like that of an arrogant director. World has seen what happens to arrogant people and my suggestion to Myskin is to stay grounded. You are jnust an average director and making a box office success of more than 100 crore is a special talent by itself. For that very reason you might never get to direct legends like Rajini & Kamal. Myskins case is that of sour grapes...

I guess you are referring to his answer to a reporter on why he did not give important to songs in his movies. He wants to break the regular mould of films having 2 and half hours and 5 songs just for the heck of it. He provides the other taste of cinema to people like me who are fed up with the same "masala" movies. He may not be in 100 crore club.

I think we need to clearly distinguish between commercial directors and people like Mysskin, Bala and the likes..it would take some effort to get in to their world to understand their way of film making..they are in a world of their own and want to make their creation irrespective of the typical industry cliches like masala, potboiler, big budget movies etc..while am a huge Rajini fan and love movies of all directors like Shankar sir and the new directors like Karthik Subburaj..I love the works of Bala, Mysskin as well and respect their dedication to their craft..we can like it or not..its each to our own..infact Bala or Mysskin do not want to direct a Rajini or a Kamal..Mysskin is arrogant or atleast sounds arrogant because he knows his craft..and knows it too well..try to understand his perspective and try to disregard the tone of his voice :)
myskinn is one of the best directors in india and world.if he given chance in Bollywood he can break all records,sadly dumb Bollywood producers are not much aware of his talents and films.wish he gets a sencible producer in bollywood
