Swami Chinmayananda was a fearless teacher of Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita, a fantastic orator, humurous, an excellent story teller to children (he would almost act out the stories) and he lived the life he taught...a true inspiration to many...and he changed the life of many. A giant among the Sages of Bharat. Youtube has many of his inspiring and knowledgeable discourses....

Bollywood (and its offshoots) have been India's most moronic exports -- hopefully, this movie will change the trend.

he was like any other indian guru. often he got angry in his discourses. he thought that to get name and fame swamihood is better than a journalist. that;s all.

Why don't you try out this shortcut to fame, my friend? Darkness can only be dispelled by light...similarly the only cure to ignorance is knowledge.....study, reflect, internalize it....THINK! He was a no-nonsense disciplined man, who would not tolerate the "chalta hai", lazy & not punctual ways of many of us and exhorted us to change and live a life of values/discipline....that is not "anger"....it is advice from an enlightened teacher to change (which is very difficult)....

You mistook a lion roaring as anger. It is a wake up call to sleeping tamas ices.
