Producers of the movie are Ritish sadhwani and reliance. They picked mahira to save money and find larger audience. She is very popular in middle east. Plus, by picking pakistani actors you pay less and save 13 to 20 crores on photoshop softwares. For indian actors, bollywood has been using photoshop technology to make them look white and pink. Its a small budget art movie
When relationship is going bad with Pakistan and when Hafeez Saeed said India is behind Peshawar even when Tehrike Taliban accepted and owned it, here is bollwyood which accepts mahira from pakistan and sunny leone from that industry.
