Appreciate his honesty to the art of cinema

How many actors have the guts to be honest to the cinema they believe in? Here is one living example. Salute you sir. Once can connect with your characters on creen so well - be it light hearted ones like Golmaal, Naram Garam, Rangi Birangi, Rajnigandha, Chitchor or Chotisi Baat or the more serious ones like Gharonda or Ankahee. This gentleman always followed his heart.

He acted with soul and heart and produced and directed similarly only because he knew his limitations and worked extremely hard to challenge himself. He represents to me the true grit and determination of a Mumbaikar of the 60's and 70's, the city was growing but everyone had to struggle and yet they managed to retain their optimism, their happiness and above all their sanity by staying with the boundaries and playing with determination
