2 things here - Rediff manipulated his statement and he's a very good actor!
1. He was mentioning that people were more interested in the Satyam Eva Jayate show instead of his movies because they kept asking him questions about it more. So, he just quipped that maybe, people want me to retire from movies.

2. He's a terrific actor.
But, the recent 2 films - Talaash and Dhoom3 were just horrible.
