I don't know what is so good about this movie

I don't know what is so good about it, other than the fact that there are some funny scenes in it. The 'thriller' part of the movie comes only in the last 15 seconds! Till that time the movie is dragged on. The ex-convict Raghavan was a psycho. That is what I understood from it.

better if the makers of the movie had dropped the role of the groom for the journalist.

Malayali audiences - though still attached to the age old civilisational baggage that mandates a romantic or marital match for the main protagonists in movies - are showing signs of being the first in the country to consider dumping this psychological baggage.

It would be really nice for a movie maker to suggest that a marital or romantic engagement is not really all that necessary any longer for the heroes or heroines and that he is confident and worthy enough to make a movie without such props.

Totally agree. No need for a romantic angle for each and every story unless the script demands it
