Only middle class and cultured people care. People with 5 star culture does pay much importance to martial status.but exceptions are always like Sharmila,Nargis, Sadhna, his sister.

Yes, why would 5 star people care?It's just a matter of making few calls, throwing few wads and bingo..... you get a partner.
