hopeless movie to say the least. acting is good but everything else is pathetic. the way politicians distribute liquir and cash during elections, with the same thought they have included kisses. total waste of money. money should be paid to audince to watch this movie
the makeres should have warned audiences in the beginning-----We will be vehemently promoting ciggarettes in this film thoroughout....and like hypocrates will show a small warning below....
What I liked best about Shudh Desi, is that it is indeed about two heroines and a man who just is, and isnt ashamed to acknowledge the blatant superiority of the women who inhabit his world! It is unrealistic in that I dont think a woman in India would get to do all the things Parineeti and Vani do, and live that way, and still have that blissful smile, but thats why i liked the movie. THIS is how things should be.

superiority of women?? In which department? and women who want to do 'everything'? Find something useful to do loser.. get a life.
This is a bad movie.I dont know y media misguides people. There is no love or romance.Only some low standered dialoges & scenes. This film exploits the feelings of youth & misleads youth to a different culture.
