Actuall the director makes the film. Its something novel idea to give audition of his own for director's preview. However Prakash did it and Shoojit being an ace craftsman could bring the result.After reading this article I would be happy to see the film. Dhiru Mistry
why vaidya & shivashankaran making argument.Tamilians r our brothers & they were exploited by sinhalese hence they fought.But both side should respect each other & work for progress of human being rather than fighting for new nation.

Go and hang your self the film my have been made well but full of lies and anti Tamil propaganda about what really what happened. The IPKF atrocities committed on the civilian Tamil population.Rajiv's betrayal of the Eelam Tamils after brokering an agreement with the Sinhalese and then trying to force a useless agreement on to the Tamils an agreement that the Sinhalese have not yet honored and have torn it up. The LTTE or the Tamils never agreed to this and the IPKF was sent as a pretend peace force to the Tamil lands but in reality to intimidate control the Tamils and force to accept this agreement. To this effect he even ordered the Indian generals to kill Prabakaran when he came for peace talks and they refused. If you produce a movie give all the facts correctly instead of producing some propaganda in lies however well made and riveting. Due to India's interference and betrayal and their later activities and aiding and abetting the Sinhalese in their genocidal war the Eelam Tamils are now facing structural genocide and large scale ethnic cleansing in their own lands. The Indian media and the Bollywood industry is still demonizing them, with lies and false propaganda. Go and read the damning report of what the UN human rights chief has given about Sri Lanka during her ver very recent visit.

Where is the part about the Sinhalese Sri Lankan naval cadet who hit to kill Rajiv on a parade and then became a Sinhalese folk hero. Why showing that truth will hurt the Sinhalese and the Sri Lankan government but producing riveting lies about the Eelam Tamisl does nto matter
Superb, the movie is really like hollywood type & directed by spilberg.My salute to all actors,story writter,director.The chennai express is not even 01 % of this movie.
Wow! what a movie. Usually I do not movies and consider them waste of time. Only these kind of movies make people like me to watch movies occasional.
This movie also shows, how our system (whom we abuse daily) is trying to protect India at different level and how tons of citizen has to sacrifices for cause of India.

agree with u except how our system is trying to protect INDIA, wake up lucky dont know why u feel luckyyyy.
u might need to atleast know the world if u cant see.
