I agree with you 100%. He was sick for 5 months, lata, asha, Amitabh could go and pay respect. But they didn't.
When someone is no more, no one need to comment any bad words about him or her it shows your mentality and behavior is ugly think positive and be healthy.

Judging an artist\'s volume of work of over half a century with irrelevant one-liners! Great effort! Keep it up.
THERE had been many singers like Manna Dey who deserved more but..... though they themselves too responsible ... possible reasons could be not performing consistently, poor liasoning, taste of the public, LUCK too.........

Another reason for his limited success in Bombay was his singing style being typecasted for comedians & music tutors (& of course philosophical songs in the background)
A great, great singer. I think no one has been more underestimated than him in Bombay.
Lata,did you think of anything except collecting hordes of money? Have you ever thought of helping needy ? I do not think neither you nor sachin will carry any money when they depart. Manna RIP !!!

Who are needy, and why should some who has worked hard all their life go out and spend it on some one else. How much of your salary do you spend on needy. remember no one owes any one a living, You earn your own keep.
