Adnan has been active in Bollywood circuit, he has stayed here for 14 years under the eye of public. He has given good account of himself to India and Indian public. Indian Government should immediately grant citizenship to him.
Don't understand a people illegally migrating to India become legalized in no time and the once that are seeking through a formal route go through enormous trouble.

Also there is the issue of his bank account being frozen. It is important to hear the story of rbi's side, and why Indian government is not giving permission to unfreeze his bank accounts.

However if he is proven innocent without any fraudulent actions on his part, then India can consider taking him as a citizen , considering the fact that he was a reliable tax payer, and lived in India for a substantial period of time.

Concept of citizenship has to be decided in an egalitarian way the way Dr Ambedkar enshrined in our constitution. Citizenship claim cannot be made on the basis of clan, religion, caste. A person who has made a home in a country becomes a citizen of that country. If you are born in US even while your mother was on vacation there, you become US citizen. Many hindus and Arab Muslims travel to US just before child birth.
Adnan could be personally Good or Bad person. But, it is about the Policy of India. How could we tolerate to have a Citizen of Pakistan stay in our Country without Valid Visa. The Soldier killed in Samba sector is also a very Good Human Being, then why did Pakistan fire and Kill him? We should not compromise to allow any Pakistani stay in the Country? It is all about National Interest and not about difficulty or Advantage of an Individual.
If we react like this, how can we claim India is a better place to live than Pakistan or any other country? Artists and scientists enrich culture. India used to accommodate all of them during Nalanda, Takshashila days. Let all who have the capacity to contribute and enrich the Indian life experience be welcome to this country. Life is too short to hold this kind of grudges. Why should we punish ordinary citizens and peace loving people in Pakistan for what the hate mongers over there do? And what incentive do we give them to change the current state if we start punishing them instead of bolstering their strength? It is another matter that one has to be careful in recognizing who is actually a peacenik. I think we can safely say Adnan Sami is one of the good guys. Let him be. We need all Pakistanis to think of India as a destination of aspiration, rather than the enemy.
India should have a better imigration control over pakistani imigrants most of whom enter the country never to be returned their homeland back. Like USA and othe western countries, a persons without any valid visas must be deported immediately without any further delay
He is a Pakistani citizen and should not be allowed to stay even a single days more. It is also surprising that he has aquired about 8to 10 house properties in Mumbai which a Pakistani citizen is not allowed to invest in our country.
All the more reason to kick him out. As it is it is suffocating dealing with our own people's wind. Can't tolerate winds from people from other nations.
