'Boss' and 'Shahid' have been received well at the box office - the former raked in over Rs.45 crore in the first five days while the latter, a medium budget biopic, has recovered money by earning Rs.2.05 crore in three days.

I really find 'Rediff's review absolutely nonsense, not only for "BOSS" but all other movies too. What is wrong with "Rediff"? It is high time now to change the "Rediff" to "Greenish", please. - Lawrence
We know your tie up with Shah Rukh's Red Chilleis entertainment. But we have other independent sources to verify your claims. The following may help you with your reporting. Here is the break up given by its producers 16th October, Wednesday : 14.5 crore 17th October, Thursday: 8 crore 18th October, Friday: 7.5 crores 19th October, Saturday: 7 cores 20th October, Sunday: 8.5crores (early estimates) Total 45.5 crores (early estimates)
Movie is still very strong on single screens. So watch out for it to cross 100 crores this weekend!

even if your numbers are correct, they still don't look great. but rediff needs to appreciate that some films need time to grow. why call a film flop on the 6th day? giv it at least 2 weeks. at least its business has remained stable n not fallen drastically like besharam, PPNH Himmetwala.

Rediff have historically the habit of declaring a movie a flop on the very second day without any revenue/cost analysis and worse not quoting any numbers. Does this require any journalism? It is a hit job obviously done for someone that pays them to do so!

not sure about hit job and payment but rediff sometimes gets very unfair to get more hits n views on its pages.
