he was undoubtedly a genius,in my opinion his film jaagte raho was his best.

Cannot imagine that india was so evolved in those days. Infact india is backward and looser today in true sense.

It was a fantastic picture in 1950. Boundary walls of the colleges were jumped to reach
the Cinema Hall. In front of the cinema it was
like a fair i.e. mela.

Kudos to the rediff team to come up with such an interesting article. The writer has convinced me to buy the original DVD of Aawara and watch it again, though I have watched it before on TV.
