I'm surprised why the author never mentioned Anjan Dutta. I have seen his movies, very emotional movies with nice themes, specially the one "Aamar Baba", where Soumitra also acted with Anjan Dutta. I prefer Anjanda over Ritu.
Rituparno Ghosh ix Revival of Bengali cinema? Not even Bengalis themselves know his name. Only some upper class film makers in US! Normal Bengali films are just remade from South cinema. They come only second to Bollywood. What a joke of an article. Disgusting!
