Raja is a great reviewer (no pun, just stating a fact). Its a fact that he has a good knowledge of films as well as the English language. The tragedy is that on Rediff he is writing for a readership that scores low on both fronts; so the his reviews 'fly over their heads', as we would say. But that is the readers' problem, surely not Raja's. I know I will get brickbats for this, but there, I have said it. Having said that his review of F&F6 leaves a lot to be desired. Granted these movies are not great; Hollywood churns them out just to earn a few bucks by involving popular action stars Vin Diesel and The Rock. Still, Rediff could have done better by getting a reviewer who had some knowledge of the earlier movies in the series and/or the kind of movies in which Vin Diesel stars. Raja conveniently uses the 'nothing new' nature of the movie to write a 'shortcut review'. Either he hardly saw the movie or was too bored to write a proper review. I think he should review the better movies like 'Life of Pi' or 'The Great Gatsby', leaving movies like the F&F series to others. Personally I'm waiting for movies like Vin Diesel's 'Riddick'; should be interesting.

Raja sen disliked it. So it must must be entertaining. We over the years have learnt Raja's tastes very well. I am definitely going to watch this movie over the weekend. Thanks Raja.
