The role of ' KRISHNA ' played by Nithish in MAHABHARAT was really splendid. We have seen many other versions of Mahabharat or Krishna but in comparison with the epic brought to the samall screen byh Sri. Ramanand Sagar, do not seem to do justice to KRISHNA like the one played by Nitish. Even now after so many years, when the same is telecast on the small screen, every one in my family cannot stop doing whatever they were doing at that point of time to watch Nitish KRISHNA and be enthralled. We wish he plays some other religious roles also in the future, as we are sure all his roles WILL be a runaway success. Govind K Das
I am told Nitish studied Geeta and Krishna thoroughly before he took the role. It reflected in all the nuances of Krishna he played. Nobody has played Krishna with so many shades to such perfection. His personal humility inspite of his success at that time is worth emulating by today's brash actors.
Its pity that doordarshan is gone for ever! Its all becoz of politicization & corruption in India. Can we get the magic again with Mahabharat-Ramayan-Katha Sagar-Darpan-Humlog-Buniyaad-Khaandan-Mr & Mrs-Babaji ka Baiscope-Yeh jo hai zindagi-Kachchi dhoop-Aa bail mujhe maar-Show theme-Ek do teen chaar-Karamchand-Neem ka ped-Dekh bhai dekh-Movers & shakers etc.

His performance spelled a magic. He made us believe that he was Lord Krishna.
Your action and body language and all of your performances completely matched in MAHABARATH as KRISHNA... Please try like those to educate this young generation. because I saw MAHABARATH in my school days and highly impressed and follow most of good things from MAHABARATH. We have to give that opportunity to this youngsters also.
