Sanjay Durtt should have accepted the decision od Tada Court which was later confirmed by the Highest court of the country by reducing sentence from 6 years to the 5 years as applicable to the offence he had committed. Sanjay had availed all the avenues available within the frame work of the law which however deferred the decision and the delay in confirming the verdict. Had he accepted his sentence gracefully with dignity, by this time he could have been a free man. Mr Bhatt, this is not acceptance with a dignity but he was forced to surrender before the jail authorities as finally he had no choice left for him.
