After assisting Satyajit Ray he made films like Kaalia and Shahenshah

Kaalia was a very good movie, very layered and could have gone the Ankush, Aakrosh route but commercial considerations took over, but thats one movie that shows how circumstances shape a person though I am not sure if the makers wanted to show anything like that...
