Sadashiv Amarpurkar did not say do not play Holi
by goldtiger on Mar 29, 2013 10:54 AM

Holi can be played with dry colors. No need to have continuous water flow like in rain dance. Please note the backdrop of this incident - THERE IS SEVERE DROUGHT IN MAHARASHTRA.

KUDOS TO YOU SADASHIV AMARPURKAR - YOU ARE A GREAT GUY. THANKS.

Attackers must be punished severely
by sivanantham on Mar 28, 2013 12:53 PM  | Hide replies

Most of our people waste and spoil our precious water in the name of religion.
Recently I could not able to reply to japanese barbar(now I'm in Japan) when he was asking me whether the rivers in India are clean or not and also that fellow was laughing. It is very sad that most of our people do all the nonsense things and take bath in the river to remove their sins and pollute it like anything. It is good that if these useless fellows change in course of time.

Actually it is not the bath that is the problem. It is the industrial waste and sewage which is destroying rivers. Indians love to throw trash...

INVASION OF PRIVACY & MEDIA GUNDAGARDI(as per law)
by ram kumar on Mar 28, 2013 12:18 PM

Sadashiv Amrapurkar and TV cameraman should be booked for invasion of privacy, meddling in a festival celebration and forcible media gundagardi to record people without their agreeement. This seems to have crossed all limits in India.
All we can do to the people is advise that they should not waste water, but Holi is a once a year festival and I would not object to anyone wasting water on that day.

Thanks for so many comments.

But Holi is to be celebrated and your super idiotic opposition to one day festival and wastage through out the year is only an ostentation and lust for recognition as humble citizen.

How many of you have put of a running tap on streets ?
How many of you have repaired a tampered and broken tap which is dripping water every second ?
How many of you have asked your maid/wife to put off the tap while applying washing powder on utensils ?
How many of you use tumblers and buckets and not shower for bath ?
How many of you use Tumblers while shaving and not tap ?
How many of you have asked the swimming pools in city to shut down operations till July ?
How many of you have complained the Malls, Multiplexes that the tap they are using shells out water for 8-10 seconds while people use it for 1-2 seconds, so rest all is waste and taps need to be replaced ?
How many water parks are closed in the state because of water shortage ? Go to any and you you will see people celebrating Holi Every Day in these water parks.

Stopping people from celebrating Holi is stupidest idea. Just because it is visible does not mean its a waste.

You all form part of lot who will "miss the wood for the tree" just to show how sensible you are.

buddy holi dont need promotion, do not divert the topic. it has nothing to do with religion.
once you come to reasoning, these people will run away any ways, as they are interested in preaching and lecturing. a big zilch these guys are.
