Some movies benefit a tad extra because there is a dry patch of good movies before their release. Amen is average and light hearted movie. Music is sloppy. Picturization is a plus point. Lijo is good. Strictly average movie.

perfect comment. this is not more than an above average movie. excellent camera work and performances by actors are the plus points.. herione looks pretty.. though background music is very good, songs were pathetic.. not even one single song to remember..
I saw the movie yesterday. Two words : Brilliant and Fabulous.
Definitely the best movie I have seen in recent times. The AR Rahman inspired music rocks. The storytelling is takes a Picturebook format.
Normally Vembanaad is known for it's Boat Race competition (Chundan). But even Vembanadans were in for a major surprise - the competition between groups of Clarinet Players takes Kerala's already rich heritage and culture to a new high!

Amen is a fabulous movie..It has all the essence of life...love, pain, self esteem, team spirit, spirituality, failure, success, comedy and everything..yeah i agree there r not much masalas in this film that u can expect in new gen films, but its really a good FAMILY entertainer..one more thing..plz dont misunderstand that i am being paid for my review on this film..Also..its also not necessary that "all things in this world being loved by everyone equally"..so before posting any comment try to understand there r some people who really loved this movie and plz respect their feelings too..

i think you should stick with tuppaki and dabang....Amen is definetly one of the best movies that has been released in any part of the world...thumbs up to Lijo!!!
