Crime & Punishment
by Kanu Mukerji on Mar 26, 2013 05:59 PM

While I feel sad for Sanjay, if all those who have reformed are given pardon, then, Sanjay can be pardoned too. Grounds like 'father was great'; 'he is popular actor'; 'entire film fraternity wants him pardoned'; 'decades passed since the crime'; 'he was found not guilty under TADA'; 'he is a family man with kids'; all are good for giving 'minimum sentence i.e. 5 years' and not more. They are not good for a pardon. Sanjay must serve balance sentence. He has good chance of early release for good conduct.

Good Revelation

Good that these ppl are visiting Sanjay Dutt, we get an idea of what these people who visit Dutt are. They are either grossly ignorant about the serious nature of crime that he committed or they believe that crimes of this nature do not matter to them. Even after coming out of bail he had made phone calls to the underworld. This goes to show that he had no regret or remorse for his actions. If it wasnt for the good nature of his father and his painstaking efforts, he would have been rotting in jail till this day. And all these friends of his visiting him are actually comforting him as if he is an unfortunate victim of circumstances

Guilty

A person held guilty, repeatedly by courts, has definitely done some thing wrong... Then who soever he is, actor or any thing..He should not be glorified, any way..

Charge him under TADA again!
by Indian Critic on Mar 25, 2013 07:26 PM

Congress is seeking forgiveness for him coz he has just joined the party

SP is seeking pardon coz he was a SP leader earlier.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra wants him out coz he is their business partner (boxing superleague)

Everyone has their own malafide intentions..

If he is pardoned then each citizen who is in the jail under Arms Act should be pardoned!

Its not a small crime, he colluded with Dawood Ibrahim's men and supported them to keep arms and ammunition in his house and thats why he was charged with TADA.

Had it been a common man in place of him he would have been jacked for life in the prison.

So guys before showing sympathy, understand the gravity of the crime.

You don't need 2 AK 56 rifles, pistols and hand grenades for self protection, do you?
