There are certain actors in India they can never be compared. Like Guru Dutt, Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Sanjeev Kumar, Aamir Khan, Madhubala, Nargis, Sridevi from Hindi, Sshivaji Ganesan & Kamal Hasan from Tamil, Mohan Lal from Malayalam, Raj Kumar from Kannada, NTR from Telugu. They are legend and they will stay that way. Actors may come and go but the above actors will stay untouched for ever. Hence in this case no one can reach near Sridevi.

I guess Rishi Kapoor is perfect choice there. He is one of the most natural and spontaneous actors in the last 30 years after Sanjeev kumar, Nasseruddin Shah, Om Puri & the multifacted Irrfan Khan. Forget others you have mentioned.

palani...replace rishi with the legend of all Amitabh bachchan...then the list is perfect.
and looking as a person, sridevi is a down to earth film personality, who started her career as a child artist. Most of her movies she acted effortlessly (rather carelessly?) She ate, drunk and slept movies. The kind of dedication and hard work she had put perhaps cant be repeated by any. Well if Tamannah clicks as an actress she can only be tamannah not another sridevi
She is missing , Sri devi's bust,thundering thighs, height and magical face. Sridevi looks like a million bucks today and I don't understand why are they taking her instead of Sridevi?? Indians are child molestors!

I have seen the dance in promo. It looks like someone practicing dance. while sri was good at dance from day i. lack of good actors and good scripts are compelling directors to remake old movies.

sri devi was great at acting. have not seen ANY new actress replace her, as yet. look at her act in english vinglish. she's immaculate. tabu was good, the older crop was far better than the current bimbos. rani, juhi, tabu, madhuri, zinta, etc. in the current crop the indie actresses like konkona are good. but the brats like sonakshi, sonam , kareena are all self celebrating "i have arrived" types.
