Re: Irfan really deserve the be the best actor.

No offense...I like Irfan Khan, but he really is not a great actor....he plays only HIMSELF - be it Life of Pi or New York or SlumDog Millionaire or to that matter Vodafone ads. A good actor's 2 characters should be as different as chalk and cheese....like Hugh Laurie's "Dr. House" in House and "Mr. Little" in Stuart Little or "Jasper" in 101 Dalmations.
IK may not be as famous as a SRK or SK...but that still doesn't make "playing yourself" equal to "acting"

Well I dont disagree fully, He may not have varieties, or he may not be a great method actor though but he justifies the role he has played
The trend for the past few years have been the way in which an award has been given to more than one person. So here we have Kalpana sharing the best supporting actress award with Dolly, Ustad Hotel sharing the award with Vicky Donor, Vikram Ghokle sharing the best actor award with Irrfan Khan. A ridiculous practice to say the least.

seeing the hype, publicity and extravaganzas of other (read as filmfare, startdust, iifa and so on) national awards definitely are more sensible. People like Aamir hence stayed away from all the awards other than national awards

Best Supporting Role or Villain Should be Rishi Kapoor for playing Rauf Lala Character in Agneepath. No other actor match to that level of acting for the year 2012.
