I am very surprised at the review. Bala makes sure he adds an overdose of sorrow and make every character in the movie cry. Hero has cried well and few other characters have also cried exceptionally well. Very well written lousy dialogues here and there. So lot of chances for the actors to get national award ..they will be called for interviews in all channels and will be asked how was their acting ...i am sorry.... crying experience. ..in a few years I am sure the actors in bala's movies will get awards but the poor producers will be soon sitting in one corner and crying.....
Balavin "Paradesi" will make the theater owners real "Paradesi" in 2013 by showing this bluddy idiotic movie based on British period. What message Mr.Bala wants to tell to the society now? Nothing. Whether we are going to fight for freedom now? Nothing. Anybody can take the movie of this kind. Even you and me can sore a movie like this with one line story. That 48 days long walk is too much. Irritating. Total Tragedy. Happened is happened. You are me or bala cant to anything. Nandha - Bala, Pithamagan - Bala. Where he has gone. Why this type of Psycho movies i dont know. Movies, explaining the present day tragedies like, Bomb blast, drought, women harassment, spoiling the nature, to keep the earth clean for our heirs. Thats important. But, i am sorry. Watching this movie is waste of time, money and spoiling your health due to pressure rise. Bala, beaten hero and heroines in the shooting spot, the news in the media. Think 100 times before going for this movie.

every movie doesn't necessarily needs to resemble today's world. Don't we have science fiction futuristic movies which are irrelevant today. Also don't we have celebrated historic movies in hollywood like life is beautiful,schlinders list. One cannot erase the history completely. Do you boycot history suject in school just because its not relevant today?
