Jolly B is one of the best movies of 2013 - it is not predictable. It is better than Special 26 which relies on "fooling" audiences with twists makes you feel like you are an idiot.
I saw jolly llb , wud say that it is slightly predictable but well made movie on a very relevant subject... all in all did not get bored seeing this one
i don't agree with the review above. i enjoyed the movie, liked everything about the movie awesome dialogues, acting, social message it tries to give. it was shocking to see such a review. i would give 3 and a half star to this movie.
I enjoyed Jolly LLB thoroughly and am surprised to read this review! Give me this movie any day compared to a Dabang or those countless stupid Salman Khan movies (don't care if they make 100 crore or 500 crore - crap movies are crap). This one had such amazing acting and direction that I wish there were more such well made movies. For me it was a fully paisa vasool movie. The only thing that could do with some improvement was maybe (a) how little the protagonist had to do to prove his case in the court - it is as if things just fell into his lap and (b) how easily he changes his point of view from wanting to make a fast-buck to being genuinely interested in fighting the case. But I am being picky and trying to find faults. When I came out of the theater I felt like I had seen a good movie!! It was defintely the acting (esp the comedy was so perfect) and the direction that carried the movie through I think. Reminded me of Khosla ka Ghosla (though I'd rate that one higher). Go watch it guys!
With such good actors like Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi & Saurabh Shukla, with a comedy & a bit different background, the film was expected to make us laugh a lot. But actually it just tickles. With unnecessary & below average songs it becomes boring. Amrita Rao's artificial acting further downgrades it. First saved by intermingled funny scenes.second half is better, has some pace. Film is definitely predictable. But can be watched once. Never mind if you miss it!
