In original Himmatwala! the movie was a hit because of her. The song Nainon Mein Sapna was a super hit. And she took the bollywood by storm and style, More hits like Mr India, Chaalbaaz followed and she was on cloud nine.
It took the guts and gumption of Madhuri dixit to lend some competition to sridevi in late 80s and early 90s.

Funny. I haven't seen either movie. But I did see both versions of this song on youtube, and I found the Tammannah one more attractive. Just my observation; I wonder what others think

the movie is an hit one (new version) but heroine is a wrong choice. She looks nasty. I am from Andhra Pradesh and she is a big flop in telugu

and sridevi was born in 1963 august . and himmatwala was released in 1983. her age was 19 ..almost 20 //

mr. peacelam - peace bro! sridevi was a side character in julie. not the title role. n dats wht i am saying - 1963 is wrond date given by her. even though it can be exposed by media, her current husband's money is stopping it.
