What does the writer mean by 'world level badminton player' about Prakash Padukone? These people are so much focussed on Bollywood that their brains have become stunted. They cannot see anything beyond Bollywood and know of nothing else. Ignorant idiots !!
Prakash Padukone was not just 'a world level badminton player'. He was in fact World No.1 for many years. He won the All England Badminton Championship in 1980 and World Championship in 1981, Commonwealth Gold in 1978 and many other international titles. He has been conferred the Padmashri and the Arjuna Award. So, Deepika should be referred to as Prakash Padukone's daughter instead of referring Prakash Padukone as Deepika's father.

Totally agree with Vishwasrao. Prakash Padukone is much more famous and illustrious than his daighter and she should be rightly termed as Prakash Padukone's daughter.
