Anand ....

Tinu has written in a very candid way. His observations regarding Rajesh are extremely touching. But one, who has read about how unprofessionally Rajesh behaved in his hay day, nobody else but Rajesh himself is to be blamed for his situation in later day's. Sincerity, which gives birth to professionalism is must when you are in public gaze. Amitabh-Rajesh, Tendulkar-Kambli, Gavaskar-Sandip Patil .... are few examples of equally talented people but separated by professionalism.

Extremely poor article!
by PMBB on Jun 12, 2013 06:21 PM  | Hide replies

"He told Shabana that this thought was inspired by my father and described the fight that had taken place between us on the sets of Shahenshah". ‘This thought' being referred to here, is about Bachchan – as a Member of Parliament- proposing a law to ensure that national emblems are respected.
Tinnu Ananad has obviously forgotten that Mr. Bachchan started working on the film only after he resigned from Parliament – which brings about an anomaly in the situation.
Even otherwise, the article makes poor reading. It appears as though Tinnu Anand has gone senile and trying is trying to prove to everybody that he has always been a man of infinite wisdom. I would, in fact, go further and say that none of the articles at Rediff make interesting reading.
The article is a pile of rubbish!!

Thanks for publishing this excellent article about Tinu Anand and his career. Mr. Tinu you are indeed a very good actor and great director. I have seen Duniya Meri Jeb mein when I think was probably 10-12 years old and I remember a scene where Rishi Kapoor or Shashi Kapoor who has lost his leg and trying to stop the running plane. Beautiful movie it was.
