ada smith, we always speak in good terms about our family. who's farah to be spoken of in high terms? all filmwallahs are of same calibre - third class. no need to put them on a pedestal unnecessarily.
In the past few months, I have seen multiple tv shows and articles in newspapers and websites glorifying 100 years of Indian Cinema. But interestingly, all the movies/topics that cover such shows or articles are from the bollywood industry. My question is simple....Are we celebrating 100 years of Bollywood or Indian cinema? Lets see the facts, Raja Harishchandra produced by the "Father of Indian cinema" Dada Saheb Phalke was a silent movie with a Marathi screenplay. This released in 1913. How can that mark 100 years of hindi or bollywood film industry? Plus we have several movie industries all across India like Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Malayali, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Gujarati etc. who have contributed to this iconic history. Why aren't those films or scenes or actors/actresses mentioned in any list.......Find it slightly strange...!!!
