First of all
by Benito Chavez on Jul 18, 2013 12:13 PM

You can never compare the real Milka Singh with this waana be producer-director-storyteller-actor. Only thing this guy has very-very rich parents and filmy connections to finance him, first of all what he speaks is mumble-jumble.
farhan give us a break, take early retirement

The problem.
by radkesh thiwari on Jul 01, 2013 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

The problem I see here is that did Milkha Singh had such big muscle in reality. I doubt any of the Indian athletes had such a body. I would happier if Farhan Akhtar had lost weight and become undernourished to enact the reality.

Milkha Singh did have such a body in the later stages of his career. In fact he was at his best in the 1960 Rome Olympics, when he broke the then olympic record (not to be confused with world record) of 45.7 sec, by clocking 0.1 seconds lesser. Unfortunatley for him, that was the toughest race ever run (when 4 out of 6 runners broke olympic record) till then and he had to finish only 4th and miss the bronze.

'Awesome'
by Harichandran Peran on Jun 03, 2013 01:33 PM  | Hide replies

I am not a big fan of neither Farhan Akthar nor sporting movies. But seeing the trailer, I can visualise the tremendous dedication & hard work, that seems to have gone into making this film... So couldnt control my mind, shouting loud as 'Awesome work', which is still a lesser word to be used and I am hence searching for a more superlative word than that!
