Joy became famous because most of his movies had great music and the immortal voice of Mohd Rafi made Joy even more popular.

spare us this agony..the so-called Golden Era of the 60's was characterized by some absolutely talentless fellows passing off for heroes and heroines, terrible scripts and awful editing..

The trash of 60s is better than the block buster of this era.
Likes Bimal Roy,Mehboob Khan,Guru dutt ,Raj kapoor and K Asif were masters of Film Making.
Plz dont make such comments if you have no idea of the Cinema of 60s/50s which is still called golden Age of Indian Cinema

They should have included an item number.. these days, nothing works in Bollywood without a non-sensical item number.. it defies logic.. but that where we are !!

There is an item number Mr. Jadugar. I am sure the songs and their picturisation will spell bound any of from younger generation. This is my challenge, provided you go to cinema hall to watch it

in 1970/71 ...it would have valued not less than 450 to 700 crore ... his son would have been real estate king by now , instead of Hiranandani , name Mukharjee builders ruled the market .... instead he choose to make this B grade movie ..what a pity ! ...

It wasn't just money but his passion for movies which made him take the step instead of investing in real estate and gold. Hope the movie does well!

You seem to have no value for sentiments that is why you commented like this. This film does not need people like you to watch it. There are lot of people who are waiting to watch this movie. They may be less in number but since Monjoy has clearly said that he might have given it a suitable publicity, but for the practical reason he is not in a position to do so. Only here the film may get set back. But hope, the release would fetch him at least the invested money in todays term

This shows mentality of making fun of someone's emotion, dedication, love and duty towards one's father. It is sad that people like you believe in bullying rather than to praise. Totally rubbish mentality.
