Don't get over excited and mix up things. Modi was brought into the discussion by somebody else.
Iftaar party is supposed to be arranged for the people who observe fast and typically not rich enough to afford delicacies. So, essentially poor people, who observe fast, are the ones who need to be invited. However, I see a different picture here :-) Forget about others, I doubt if the host and the super-star guests even know what Ramzan is, except for the Eid day, that too for the release date of their next film :-)

Why should anybody offer them alcohol? They might be carrying it with them. BTW, as you might know already, consumption of alcohol is forbidden for Mus1ims.

Acceptance and consumption of h_a_r_a_m gifts is also forbidden for Mus1!ms but that does not stop them from accepting these gifts from Congress party and shameless consuming them!

True, whether it is Congress or any other party, accepting forbidden items as gifts is happening these days, to please the giver. This shouldn't have happened.

What you have said is correct, but a little change is required. Invite those friends who are fasting and who know what Ramzan means :-) They might be doing a lot for poor people. I don't deny that. Many people donate for many reasons :-) What I have said is that Iftaar party is not an event where celebrities meet and chat about business and cut the deals :-) There are other occassions for doing that.
