Pran, fondly called Pran Saheb in film fraternity, passed away leaving behind a long history of his histrionics. He was a great person, no matter how he portrayed his characters in films. A good and nice man in heart, he managed to win the hearts of millions of his fans. I pray for his eternal peace.

An interesting episode:In 1961 we were making a feature film in Rajkamal Kalamandir studio, Mumbai. On adjoing set there was Pransaab shooting. In lunch hour he came on our set. Incidentlly the producer of our film name was also Pran. Introduce Pran Saab saying,'Meet Mr.Pran' and he shook hand with the producer.A very sweet memory. Dhiru Mistry
