GOLDEN JUBILEE
by Delhi Guy on Jul 02, 2013 06:15 PM  | Hide replies

Its good to celebrate. I dont agree with views of others who feel that they should have spent the money this or that way. They earned it and have full right to spend it. They are at least better than politicians who put hoardings or full page newspaper advt spending hard earned money of income tax payers.

It is good for them and the whole community. Money spent on these celebration reinforces beliefs, friends and family. It is also good for the economy as many people are employed in the events.

Waste of money and time instead if they had put the money to good use it would have been better.

Do not talk rubbish, get the knowledge of how much social work this family is doing, Ajinkya Dev is running a school for mentally challenged people with his own money and he do not get any aid from govt.

I fully agree with you Pradeep, without knowledge he is barking on this rare event. To see your golden jubilee of wedding together is not a common event! It is the rarest event!! So what's wrong if they celebrated it? Mr. Satish Bhat, don't you celebrate your Birthdays? Or wedding anniversaries? Don't argue only for the sake of augment.....

Satish, it's fine to have your opinion. But, I think it's not all waste. Imagine, how many people get work for these types of events. If there is no spending, there will be no job for a lot of people. Money is only valuable for the society when it's spent. So, there is always a brighter side.
