the movie earlier wud not have worked in tamilnadu anyways...so no loss...atleast now it will work in other parts of india due to this publicity and recover its money...so in the end kamal hasan will win
VR has been released in 3 Govt owned theatres in Trivandrum with no issues. Couple of friends were lucky to see the movie yesterday. They were saying that huge number of people are travelling from TamilNadu to watch movie in TVM. It is extremely difficult to get tickets for this movie in TVM now.
The way the TN government is behaving is a autocratic government. Now is the high time for the central government to take notice of it and sternly warn the TN government or Impose President Rule because the land of law is not been right sted in Jaya Lalith's government on whom so many corruption cases are pending ihe court. If the present central government is using this situation for their next general election benifit from Jaya Lalith then mind it people of India is watching it very curiosly toward the central government and TN government.

namaaz on mount road? Are roads not meant for people to walk and vehicles to be driven? talking about it shows you and your mindset both sucks as much the CM whom you are defending.
This protest is nothing but created by Distributors and Exhibitors lobby as a revenge against Kamal Hassan for his simultaneous DTH release for Vishwaroopam which has been the main reason for rift between Kamal and distributors lobby. This is not a spontaneous protest, the distributors lobby are using their political clout to spin the narrative of the protest by creating an anti Muslim image for the movie and stage managing this protest. This infact just mirrors the current status of movie industry where the distributors and marketers are more powerful and have clout over the creative team and don't want to loose their upper hand and revenue base.
