men are not looking for companions

"men are always looking for companion" is a total misinformation tantamount to lie. Neither men nor women look for marital companion after 50yrs of age. This is India, may be you forgot. There are men who have married at 50, yes, but 9 out of 10 of them would have married a widow or divorcee 'women'. So, stop acting too intelligent and stop thinking that people are edyots. Marriage after 50 is not common in India because we have a family, whereas in your faviourite western countries they must marry even at 90 because they don't have families, children visit parents once a year for christmas or thanksgiving, not even a single child will support parents at old age. Don't tell it happens in India, its not that common yet in India. Also, there are no neighbours or relatives in west, they are only name sake, unlike India which is a closed family oriented society. We call this culture, that is unknown to your clan. So, this means, 50yrs plus people in India don't need a marital partner to say 'how is this', there are many other companions already. Traditionally, our ancestors spent old age in spiritual endeavors, which is also alien to your clan, so no point in explaining that to you.

I don't know why you are abusing deepti naval. Are you hysterical? She is not saying anything about India nor is she advocating anything great about west you are just imagining things. Since you brought it up west or East many men marry girls half their age and if present day 2012-2013 men were great India would not be a hub for abuse towards women so go spent your time on something else than shouting at a 50 year old woman.
