everybody feels they deserve better...but then if lata gets earlier..janaki should have got earlier too...why so late for rajesh khanna? why so late for sridevi? why no bharat ratna for vajpayee...

This is about Padmashri. Madhu is a very senior actor/dirctor and Padmashri is too low for him. Sridevi can still get padmabhushan she is only on her 40s. Rajesh Khanna had got padma award earlier and this is padma bhushan for him

Correctly said man, Vajpayee is the only deserving candidate for the Bharat Ratan in the country and all others you said are really true
I dunno why these south stars are demanding awards ..like they choose which is best for them ! One lady says she wants Bharat ratna here one guy wants higher Padma award ! This shows their greed and mania ! they may be stars in their state but at a national level they are not that big ! To be true i have not heard of this person before .. and i dont think some Janaki is some amazing singer who has moved the nation. And most importantly , I am seeing all awards in India being awarded to Filmstars and singers and worthless people. There are a thousand hard working officers, professionals..why r they ignored

Its funny that you are not aware of the fact that India is not just has one language or culture. Its diversified. So not everybody can be populat at national level. Every one supposed to be recognized equally based on their talent irrespective of whether they have popularity at national level or not. Otherwise why should we be together, huh? Finally, Unity in diversity is of nation's philosophy, right? If you don't know about Janaki, just keep quiet... You don't have any right to say!

Look friend, I know Miss Janaki as a singer .... but whats hers right to Bharat Ratna, THAT PART i am not clear. and for heavens do not get emotional for these filmy people and singers ... they never feed us nor does their singing and dancing help the nation

If Lata Mangeshkar also does not deserve bharat ratna. There are much better singers than her. She could not sing in even half of the range of D K Pattammal or ML Vasantha Kumari or Kishori Amongar. Madhu is a veteran actor who has made a lot of classics which India can always proud of. I also wondered when Kalamandalam Gopi awarded padma shri who is a veteran in kathakali along with Tabu. Really, lot of stupids are there in the national award committee and they don't see india as a diverse nation.
This is part of North Indians agenda to degrade South Indians as third class citizens. We should rethink our participation in the Union of India. Dravida Nadu appears to be the only solution.
