Possible reason - In the recent public meeting( P. Chidambara B'day - Book launch meeting) Kamal wished PC to become PM of the country. That triggered anger to Jaya. Otherwise why she has been silent for so many days!!

More reasons: 1) Kamal apparently acted very closely with Karunidhi when the latter was CM during his release of Dasavatharam
2) he showed the CM in the movie along with George Bush (himself) each patronising the other
3) The earlier CM went out of the way to praise the film in the media after watching the trailer.
4) kamal did not get the current CM to preview his viswroopam.
5) All these plus the recent statement of Kamal to see a dhoti clad tamilian being PM would have upset the other PM aspirant of the state.

Kamal has proved again and again that he is anti hindu and more so anti brahmin. Thats why Dravidian adore him.
By producing the picture Viswaroopam, Kamal Haasan has become a world-wide phenomenon and donned the role of Viswaroopam, in fact. But, the TN govt was very formidable and aggressive, and using politics in front, stopped the movie release for 2 weeks.. Thereby the govt of the day in TN has really taken viswaroopam making he V.roopam maker a Vamana roopam. Ofcourse, my heart goes with the real Viswaroopam creator Kamal Haasan.

This protest is nothing but created by Distributors and Exhibitors lobby as a revenge against Kamal Hassan for his simultaneous DTH release for Vishwaroopam which has been the main reason for rift between Kamal and distributors lobby. This is not a spontaneous protest, the distributors lobby are using their political clout to spin the narrative of the protest by creating an anti Muslim image for the movie and stage managing this protest. This infact just mirrors the current status of movie industry where the distributors and marketers are more powerful and have clout over the creative team and don't want to loose their upper hand and revenue base.
The real problem here in India is government and political parties, for the sake of some minority votes, support some people who is ursting corcodile tears in the name of religion. Our's is a democratic country and every body has the right to say something, do something which is legal. If I do something and somebody do not like it, it is their problem, donot listen to me; if anybody is interested to listen me, nobody has sthe right to stop them. In my opinion, what we reallyt want here is the word "MINORITY' should be removed from our constitution. There should be only one law for all the citizens, irrespective of religion, cast, cread etc. Yes, the government should help the downtroden for their upliftment irrespective of religion, cast etc. The goveraanment is keen in abolishing subsidies to all. Likewise, the government should withdraw all kind of reservations basedd on religion, cast, etc. and give support to the needy by way of subsidies etc.

Hi, this is not national issue.... this is just silly entertainment. Ignore Kamal, SRK and etc.......who are not required to be Headlines for nation. There are too many important issues to be sorted.. Goverment should better concentrate that.

This issue is important. It is about constitutional violations by politicians. If a celebrity is treated like this by politicians, what about the common man?
