He always was good actor, went trough a bad phase couple of years back choosing bad formulaic movies but is back with a bang now, doing roles that befit his stature and age. (Ok agreed Karmayodha was one off mistake but all other movies last year were great).
Also dont understand how having a potbelly versus a six pack has an impact on performance?
Going by that standard John Abraham, Arjun Rampal, Ranveer Singh all should have gotten Oscars for their bellies?
i'm really sick of these good for nothing miserable punks who abuse n make fun of Mohanlal. Go n watch a few of his movies and decide what kind of actor he is. He's way beyond your peanut sized intelligence to understand. I recommend you clowns to watch Thanmatra on youtube.... then come n make fun of him.

Grow up Man U cannot compare his acting skills with any of u r so called Bollywood zeros....he is the one who got the 3 national awards for his acting 7 state awards 8 filmfare award. The nation honoured him with padmasree. He is undoubtedly the most natural and flexible actor in the country...

Agree Mr.RaviKrishna that malayalis won't leave this fat tummy grandpa, but when it comes to real acting can you list out how many in india can match this man?I won't say he is the only one, but a very few in India and he is one among them.
