Maybe he thought that it is India and he will be invited as a VVIP guest, so he did not bother to get the tickets.

This is funny - Just like normal people get their pictures clicked with "stars", this time Anupam Kher looks like an ordinary guy who is eager to get his picture clicked with bigger celebrities :)
