come to think of it- chetan Bhagats stories, mediocre as they seem, are one of the few original stories we get to see on screen. Rest are copies or adaptations of foreign movies or south movies which in turn copy/adapt from foreign movies.
Film marketing people have bought media channels and their reviewers. this movie is not even half dil chahta hain. Music too not upto the mark. Worst thing, the supposed to be great friendship between the guys does not seem heart-touching.
4 Stars? thats what you would give a dil chahta hai. looks like stars available at a discount now in terms or quality. and across the board reviewers going gaga over a moview of such low calibre, we are free to draw our own conclusions in these cynical times..
Though the movie is one time watch,but they had changed the plot and the climax too.Chetan's book,his language,the nerve breaking suspense and mamaji's foolish speeches are far better tahn the movie.
