Looks like a movie to be watched. Seems neither illogical like Akshay/SRK's movies nor "I-know-everything, I-am-the-only-good-guy" type Aamir movies.

Brilliant performances and utterly beautifully directed ocean of emotions... Yes... this is exactly what Mai is all about... Asha Bhosle stands out as we come to know that besides being a legendary singer, she is also an awesome actor... The film takes you to an emotional journey where you get to know more about life with its most unexpected forms where the people you are most dependant upon, break your heart and the people... The mother-daughter relationship showed in the film and brilliantly show casted on the celluloid by Padma vibhushan Asha Bhosle and Padmini Kolhapure is the gist of the entire film... Ram kapoor's performance is also very good as he connects with public as usual... Verdict: four out of five stars... Watch it and love your parents...

"Another name worth mentioning is the actor who plays Mai’s youngest son-in-law. He’s meant to inject comic relief in an otherwise serious film, and he does it well." - Where's the name? The least you could do is find out who played that role and mention him here. Of all the reviewers on rediff today, you and Prasanna Zore seem to be the worst of the lot! Looking forward to more inanity of such kind from you.
