He was a standout performer in the otherwise low standard of lecherous Bollywood performers. Extremely talented, sedate, composed, cultured, ungregarious, sombre, sober, very unlike other upstart Bollywood actors, who are loud, illiterate, rustic, voyeristic, almost always relying on good looks and dressing rather than acting of some substance. May his soul RIP.
Really a fine & born actor. He was so natural that one could never tell he was actin at all. Truly a great loss to the Indian screen and teh film fraternity. We miss you Sheikh.
Farooque Shaikh was a very fine and natural actor. His performances in movies like Noorie, bazaar, Chashme baddoor, Saath Saath , Katha etc. were very natural and heart touching. Unfortunately he did not get his due from the industry. We should have had more movies from him. Rest In peace.Arun banerjee
