Has any one thought about the ticket prices being charged by the multiplexes for this film? Naturally it can cross Rs500 crore also , filling the pockets of distributors and multiplex managements, but putting a big hole on pockets of movie buffs. But why no one is complaining?

Dhoom 3 is the listless of the Dhoom series. Unlike, its predecessors Dhoom 3 heavily borrows from "Now you see me " & "The Prestige". I'm surprised by Mr Aamir khan willingness and acceptance to act in this movie who is touted to be a perfectionist in selecting stories and executing it to perfection. Mr Abhishek Bachchan character is so hilarious (Especially his intro scenes) and there is no scope for him in the film except Two chases (At least in previous two installments his character were able to show some intelligence).
The movie is able to draw audience only because of Bandwagon & Stardom. No Doubt, Aamir khan steals the show as usual but the cons of the movie eclipses the good acting by Aamir khan...
Dhoom 3 is the latest addition to the potboiler's club...
CE made in 40Cr,(plus 20 cr in promotion) made 228Cr business. Dhoom3 made in 150 Cr (plus 20 cr in promotion) need to make 5 times business aprrox 700cr to match CE if you go by percentage logic. What abig deal if movie made in 170 cr and made 200 cr...All Amir fan media/journalist just doing hype of this just to grab attension.(Its a different thing that both movies are just masala entertainer, not quality)

Where did you get those figures from, can you post the source. Wiki clains CE is made at a budget of 75 Crores, and Dhoom 3 is mage at 100 Crores.

plz check hasinizone dot com .Approx budget of movie is 150Cr. they spent less money approx 20cr on promotion. So total 170Cr movie.Also, google PVR statement or check in moneycontrol site, they told that if movie goes till 3 weekend, then they will earn 40cr profit. so point is no need to make so hype abt business of movie.
Watched D3 yesterady... Oh boy.. it is a total crap... 1. India\'s Top Cop enters to catch the goons in Auto Rikshaw.. ( guess Govt is in bad condition to provide car or zeep) 2. NY Police is in such bad state that it offshores it to 2 Idiot Indian Cops and bring them onsite to catch the thied. ( Offshoring in bollywood0 3. Amir Khan makes 3 attempts to bring down and rob a bank ( probably 1 time was not sufficient) 4. BMW Makes Transformar bikes.. Wow.. Even Jamesbond would be pleased.. 5. Entire NY Cops just fires 1 bullet in whole move and that too by Jay Dikshit.. ( Saving Bullets) 6. NY Cops does not catch thief\'s at night... they wait for them till Morning to reach a Dam top for no reason.. 7. Forget it..

No way .. the likes of dark night & the dark night rises are far better ... It will take at least 20 years to India to match up their level ...
