It is a distinct trait of the raxce they belong to (negrito dravidian).

And you have showed your Aryan stupidity by croaking needlessly. As they say, empty vessels make more noise!

Please don’t demean the acting prowess of south Indians, we have produced many a fine actors like the legendary Sivaji Ganesan, N.T Rama Rao , Rajkumar , Kamala Hassan, Mamooty, Mohanlal and the list goes on. There is a famous saying by Marlon Brando about Sivaji Ganesan “You can act like anyone including myself but I can never act like you” .Bollywood films have a wider audience as Hindi is widely spoken language in India that people tend to neglect the contribution of South Indian movies towards Indian cinema. Another major factor contributing to the ignorance of you northies has to be blamed on media as it is totally skewed towards bollywood and have always neglected south Indian movies big time .You northies want to see what acting and versatility is all about ,just watch the movies of these people I have mentioned. Maybe all your Khans and your Kumar’s can learn a lesson or two by observing them. Watch movies like Salangai Oli/Nayagan by Kamala Hassan or a Bharatham by Mohanlal or a Deviamagan /Pasamalar by Sivaji Ganesan to know about good acting and versatility is all about, but skin show are what you northies are interested in then please stick to Bollywood.

Never say this sir. We are all Indians, above all human beings. No discrimination please. If it is a negrito why are they taking people like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Asin, Rekha, Sri Devi. It is only the talent and not the race. Obviously North indians have the Indo-Aryan trait and South Indians have the Dravidian, but basically India is a multicultural country. Many technicians are also from South only just remember that.

Words can be deceiving also. It "was", but now it "is" a Mohanlal film. If Mammootty had acted in it, it would have been another Valsaliyam or some other movies of his, but when Lal sir acts he gives a style that is unique which makes each movie in a different way. That is why he is ahead of other actors. His intensity is totally different from others.

Correctly said. Mohan Lal is by any standard is one of the best actors India has seen in the past and also in the present and of course he would be in the future also comparisons. Give him any role whether masala, intense, action, in dance or humorous, he will win hands down. He is well known for practicing vigorously to live into the character. That is why his bulkiness has waived by his fans, audience and critics. On the other hand Mamooty is a good actor and one can say very intense but in character roles. He is not an alrounder He is a total failure in dance, action, humorous or masala roles. Mamooty is senior than Mohan Lal and the muslim lobby of directors/producers and mohan lal haters go for him. Precisely Mohan Lal is an actor with international appeal and stand against any actor in India. All the Best to Mohan Lal.

but im not against mohan lal or anything. but i was telling how unlucky mammooty is. bcos he needs a real hit. of course this movie will b much better if it was acted by mammooty. mohan lal normally will not be good in these kind of roles. its bcos of the movie. i dont think these days mohan lal acting is that superb. he really lost his midas touch as olden days. its almost the same kind of acting. i dont know about this.

Very True, Mohanlal gives a style that is unique which makes each movie in a different way. That is why he is ahead of other actors. His intensity is totally different from others.

actors like ompuri, naseerudinshah.... people dont gv importance to their looks becos...but thy can arrest you by their performance.....
Mohanlal can do the subtle roles in his own way naturally. That is what makes him a wonderful actor. The directors should give him more challenging roles to show his talent
