one important film of peter o`toole was the night of the generals in which he played the role of a psycho nazi general investigated by german intellegence for the murder of a prostitute.film has another interesting plot of plan to assasinate hitler similar to 2008 Tom cruise starrer valkyrie.his performance in the film is similar to lawrence of arabia.those war movie lovers who have not seen the movie must see it.I am sure you will like it

Now, talentless people in Bollywood will pay "rich" tributes to this actor as if he was from their native place in GutterPradesh!

And Rediff will post their comments, messages and tweets like they were divine words from the heavens!

Saw Lawrence of Arabia recently on SONY PIX. What a grand film ! and what a memorable performance ! We'll never see the likes of Peter O' Toole again - such a colorful and rambunctous personality who has ssen the vicissitudes of life (and could drink like a fish !) I even recall the wonderfully underplayed role in 'The Last Emperor' such versatility
