He is an important Tamil star and that is it....those comical costumes, weird melodrama and anti gravity action scenes which is his trademark will never get him to national conscience such as an AB or DK.
he is the biggest superstar india has ever seen...even Japanese comes to see him in chennai..but simple man who go to himalayas during his film release..when whole world will be chanting his name...

i don't think the whole world in chanting his name..even indian only 25-30 % people may be watching his movies.
